Fr. Brendan McKeefry a beloved priest of the Diocese of Sacramento passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026. Fr McKeefry served in our Diocese for 41 years at Holy Spirit Parish, Fairfield; All Hallows, Sacramento; Saint John the Baptist, Chico; Saint Thomas More, Paradise; Good Shepherd, Elk Grove; and finally to Our Lady of the Assumption, Carmichael. Father McKeefry served at All Hallows Parish from 1982 - December 1989. All are invited to celebrate Fr McKeefry's life and years of service, with a Funeral service at Our Lady of Assumption Parish, Wednesday July 1st at 11:00am. A viewing will be held in the church the day before between 4 - 7pm, followed by a Funeral Vigil Service at 7pm.

The St. Peter-All Hallows' Youth Group, the Believers, met last Monday and extracted honey from our bee hives. They plan to bottle up the honey next weekend and aim to have it available for sale by mid-July. This initiative not only supports local ecology but also teaches valuable skills about beekeeping and teamwork!
